MINECRAFT 3D PRINT
Print your favourite sword, a creeper or a chest: every block, item and mob turns pixel by pixel into a closed 3D model – as STL for any printer or with all its colours for multi-colour printing.
What should be printed?
The skin comes straight from Mojang. Tip: with a base the figure stands safely, from 80 mm faces show up clearly.
Whole worlds get very big quickly – export only the build itself with Litematica or WorldEdit.
As in game, 90 pixels fit into one line, the rest is cut off. From about 120 mm across the text reads well.
Like the popup in game, from the real texture. With a loop it becomes a key ring, with a magnet a fridge advancement.
Ideal for pixel art and map art: transparent pixels stay open, so the figure keeps its outline.
Print in white, 100 % infill and thin layers (0.12 mm). Held against a window or a lamp, the picture appears.
–
Alpha version: the 3D print page is new. If a model does not look right, report the bug.
This is how it comes out of the printer – drag to turn, mouse wheel to zoom. One grid square is 10 mm.
How Minecraft becomes a print model
- Pixel by pixel: every pixel of the original texture becomes a small cube in its colour. Transparent pixels stay open – glass becomes a frame. The inside is filled, so every model is a closed shell that any slicer accepts without repair.
- STL holds only the shape – for single-colour printing on any printer. Coloured 3MF arrives in your slicer as one object, every colour its own part on its own filament – for Anycubic Slicer Next, Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer. STL per colour gives you one closed file per colour: load them all at once in your slicer, combine them as parts of one object and give each part its filament. Coloured OBJ holds every face with its colour – for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, Blender or full-colour print services.
- Colours: a mob often has over 100 shades. Choose how many filaments you have – similar colours are merged, and every group keeps a real colour from the texture.
- Skin figure and builds: under “Skin figure” your own skin becomes a figure – by player name or skin file, in one of 11 poses. Under “Build” a build becomes a miniature: upload a .nbt, .schem, .litematic or .schematic file or pick one of over 1,500 original structures. With 4 cubes per block stairs and slabs get their real shape, with 16 every texture pixel gets its colour.
- Sign, picture and extras: under “Sign” your text in the Minecraft font becomes a wooden sign – lying as a door sign, standing on a post or as a hanging sign with chains. Under “Advancement” an advancement popup with icon and two lines becomes a plaque. Under “Picture” an image becomes a colour relief or a lithophane that shows the photo against the light. Under “Extra” flat models get a loop for your key ring, and any model can get a pocket for a magnet underneath.
- Tip: thin parts such as banners, plants or item handles are only one pixel thick in the game. Print them bigger, choose 2 pixels thickness for items or use the base to make them sturdy.
Models and textures come from Minecraft 26.3 – blocks with their real block models, mobs with the Java models from the game code. Everything is computed in your browser, nothing is uploaded. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang; printed models are for private use only.
