YOUR INVENTORY EDITOR
Recolour the inventory, chests, furnaces, crafting table, anvil, enchanting table and 20 more screens or repaint them pixel by pixel – with the original textures from Minecraft 26.3 and a preview full of items. Then download your resource pack for 1.8.9 to 26.x.
Preview like in the game
Pick a screen above or click a sprite on the left – the preview follows. Clicking a slot shows the slot highlight.
Rename titles: the new name goes into the resource pack as a language file (German and English). Leave empty = original title.

Colour
Hue, saturation, brightness
Clicking a colour shows it in the preview right away. “RGB” makes the colour run through the rainbow by itself in the game. “Keep outline and shine” leaves black edges and white highlights as they are – for the grey screens it stays off, or their grey would not change.
Picture as background
No picture yetYour picture fills the window area of the open sprite. With “Keep slots and borders” only the grey window is replaced – slots, edges and shading stay. The picture stays in your browser.

How your inventory gets into the game
- Download the pack and put the .zip as it is into the
resourcepacksfolder of your Minecraft installation (in the game: Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder). - Turn it on by moving it to the right. With “1.8.9 to 26.3” one pack fits every version – or pick exactly yours.
- Everything at once: open “Recolour several sprites at once” and pick the last option – every screen gets the same colour, so it all matches.
- For screens turn off “Keep outline and shine” – otherwise their grey stays as it is. Edges and shadows stay anyway.
- RGB works for single sprites like the furnace flame, the arrow and the slot highlight. Minecraft cannot animate the big screen pictures.
All textures come from Minecraft 26.3 (gui/container and gui/sprites/container). Up to 1.20.1 the flame, arrow and creative tabs were part of the screen pictures – the editor paints them there at the right place, into the chosen version's original picture. Screens a version did not have yet (smithing table before 1.16 …) are left out. Sprites with their own .mcmeta (slot highlight) get it in the pack too. The pack format (pack.mcmeta) is checked with the code of 26.3.
