YOUR HUD EDITOR
Recolour the hotbar, hearts, hunger, armor, air bubbles and XP bar or repaint them pixel by pixel – with the original sprites from Minecraft 26.3 and a live preview just like in the game. Then download your resource pack for 1.8.9 to 26.x.
Preview like in the game
Click the hearts, hunger, hotbar or XP bar to edit them. Keys 1–9 pick the hotbar slot.

Colour
Hue, saturation, brightness
Clicking a colour shows it in the preview right away. “RGB” makes the colour run through the rainbow by itself in the game. “Keep outline and shine” leaves black edges and white highlights as they are – turn it off for the hotbar.

How your HUD gets into the game
- Download the pack and put the .zip as it is into the
resourcepacksfolder of your Minecraft installation (in the game: Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder). - Turn it on by moving it to the right. With “1.8.9 to 26.3” one pack fits every version – or pick exactly yours.
- Hearts come in many kinds: normal, hardcore, poisoned, withered, frozen, absorption and the hearts of your mount. “Recolour several sprites at once” colours one set or the whole group in one go.
- The blinking hearts show for a moment after a hit – turn on “Damage (blinking)” in the preview to check them.
All sprites come from Minecraft 26.3. Since 1.20.2 every HUD element is its own file under gui/sprites/hud; up to 1.20.1 the editor paints your changes at the right place into the chosen version's original pictures (icons.png, widgets.png). What a version did not have yet (frozen hearts before 1.17 …) is left out; RGB works from 1.20.2 on. The pack format (pack.mcmeta) is checked with the code of 26.3.
