The files are written by the same code as our Structure Converter, for Minecraft 26.3; older versions read .schem and .litematic too, .schematic is the old format up to 1.12 (blocks that did not exist back then are left out there). With WorldEdit: put the file into config/worldedit/schematics, then //schem load <name> and //paste – the shape is pasted around its centre.
How the shape is made
- A block belongs to the shape when its centre lies inside. That makes circles of even and odd sizes equally round – an odd size has a centre block, an even size has its centre between four blocks.
- Hollow keeps only the blocks at the edge – as thick as you set the wall. The wall never has holes: every block touches the next one with a face.
- A hollow cylinder without floor and top is a tube, for towers for example. The dome is the upper half of a sphere and has no floor.
- To build it, go through the layers from the bottom up; hovering the grid shows how far a block is from the centre.
