Best order in the Anvil Calculator

The Anvil Calculator tries every order in which the item and the enchanted books can be combined and takes the cheapest one where no step costs 40 levels or more (“Too Expensive!”). It uses the rules from the game code – anvil costs, half price for books and a prior work penalty that doubles after every step – and shows each step with its cost.

How long does it take to mine a block?

Mining times in the Mining Time Calculator

The Mining Time Calculator shows for each of the over 1,100 blocks how long it takes by hand or with a pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, sword or shears – with efficiency, haste, mining fatigue, under water and in the air. It uses the formula and block hardness straight from Minecraft 26.3 and also tells you whether the block drops anything with that tool. Obsidian with a diamond pickaxe takes 9.4 seconds, for example.

How many shulker boxes do I need for my blocks?

Stacks and containers in the Stack Calculator

The Stack Calculator converts any amount into stacks, shulker boxes, chests, double chests and double chests full of shulkers – with every item's real stack size from Minecraft 26.3 (64, 16 or 1). For ingots, ores, redstone and the like it also shows how many storage blocks that is, and the build volume calculator tells you how many blocks a solid or hollow box needs. 50,000 stone blocks, for example, are 28 shulker boxes, 25 stacks and 16 blocks.

How do I find biomes for my seed?

The Biome Map

On the Biome Map you enter your seed – as a number or as text like in the world menu – and see every biome of the Overworld, Nether and End. The map uses Minecraft 26.3's biome generator and matches the game exactly at over 50,000 test points, the new Dappled Forests and Sulfur Caves included. It also shows 22 structures – villages, outposts, temples, ocean monuments, ancient cities, trial chambers, strongholds, nether fortresses, bastions, end cities and the new Abandoned Camp – checked against a real 26.3 server with /locate. You can look at cave layers, show slime chunks and copy the /tp command to any spot with one click. A click on the map shows coordinates, the cave biomes below, chunk and Nether coordinates, and you can drop your own pins. More on every biome and structure – mobs, loot, colors – is in the Biome Wiki.

Where do I find diamonds and other ores?

The Biome Map and the Biome Wiki

The Biome Map shows every single ore vein for your seed – diamonds, emeralds, gold, iron, lapis, redstone, copper and in the Nether ancient debris, nether quartz and nether gold – each with coordinates and Y level. It works out the veins with the same rules as Minecraft 26.3; compared with a real server it hits practically every block of ancient debris, redstone and lapis and over 90% of diamonds. Dashed ore icons are estimates, for example emeralds, which depend on the exact mountain height. The Biome Wiki shows for every ore at which height it is most common – diamonds around Y −55, for example.

How do I make my own monster spawner?

Custom spawners in the Spawner Generator

In the Spawner Generator you pick one or several mobs (with weights), set the pause, mobs per round, max. mobs nearby, player range and spawn spread, and can add a name, colour, weapon, rider and your own light rules. The page shows the spawn area from above and which rules the mob needs in Minecraft 26.3, e.g. block light 0 for zombies. You get /give and /setblock commands for 1.13 to 26.x – tested on real servers.

How do I change the texture of an item or block?

Own textures in the Texture Editor

In the Texture Editor you pick one of 1,640 items or blocks and paint on the original texture from Minecraft 26.3 – with pencil, fill, line, replace colour, eyedropper, mirroring and recolouring. The 3D preview shows the block or item with your pixels right away. You download every changed texture as a ready resource pack for 1.8.9 to 26.x; the pictures stay in your browser.

How do I give a mob a new look?

Own mob textures in the Mob Editor

In the Mob Editor you pick one of 90 mobs and paint on its original texture from Minecraft 26.3. You download the finished textures as a resource pack; mob textures work in normal Minecraft without mods.

How do I recolour my hearts, hunger or hotbar?

Your own HUD in the HUD Editor

The HUD Editor shows the hotbar, hearts, hunger, armor, air bubbles and XP bar just like in the game. One click on a colour recolours a set – for example all normal hearts – or the whole group at once, while outline and shine stay as they are. For details you keep painting pixel by pixel. All 74 sprites come from Minecraft 26.3, and the finished resource pack works from 1.8.9 to 26.x.

How do I recolour my inventory and chests?

Your own screens in the Inventory Editor

The Inventory Editor shows the inventory, chest, furnaces, crafting table, anvil, enchanting table and 16 more screens like in the game – with items in the slots. “Everything at once” recolours every screen in one colour while edges and shadows stay; details you paint pixel by pixel. All textures come from Minecraft 26.3, the resource pack works for 1.8.9 to 26.x.

How do I make an old resource pack work in a new version?

Converting packs with the Resource Pack Updater

In the Resource Pack Updater you upload a resource pack as a .zip – from any version from 1.8.9 to 26.3. The updater detects the version, you pick the new one, and it converts the pack: textures get the new file names (e.g. blocks/planks_oak → block/oak_planks), hearts, hotbar, buttons and screen parts are taken out of the old big pictures (icons.png, widgets.png) or put back into them, and the pack.mcmeta gets the right format. A report shows what was converted and what does not exist in the new version. Everything happens in your browser – your pack is never uploaded.

Which colour is my dot on the locator bar?

Player colours with the Locator Bar Color

Since 1.21.6 the locator bar shows other players as coloured dots. Minecraft works the colour out from the player's UUID: the UUID's hash becomes a colour whose brightness is always set to 90 %. In the Locator Bar Color you enter a player name and see the colour exactly like in the game – for offline servers too, with a preview of the bar and friends to compare. With /waypoint modify @s color hex RRGGBB (without #) you give yourself a colour of your own; color reset brings the UUID colour back.

How do I make a coloured MOTD and a server icon?

Server description with Server MOTD & Icon

In the Server MOTD & Icon generator you write your server's description in parts with colour, bold, italic and other styles, on up to 2 lines, and see live how it looks in the server list – including what would be cut off. Copy the ready-made motd line into server.properties (with \u00A7 codes so it works in every version). For the server icon you upload a picture or use a player head; the generator turns it into server-icon.png at exactly 64×64 pixels, which goes into the server folder next to server.properties.

How do I build a perfect circle or sphere in Minecraft?

Shapes with the Circle & Sphere Generator

In the Circle & Sphere Generator you pick a circle, ellipse, sphere, dome, cylinder, cone, ellipsoid or ring, enter the size in blocks and choose solid or hollow – with an adjustable wall thickness. The layer view shows every layer from above to build it, with centre lines and coordinates from the centre; the 3D preview shows the whole shape. You also get the block count in stacks and shulker boxes and can download the shape as .schem (WorldEdit), .litematic (Litematica), .nbt (structure block) or .schematic (up to 1.12) – from all 709 blocks of the Map Art list plus glass.

How do I change the game rules (gamerules) in Minecraft?

All gamerules with the Gamerule Generator

In the Gamerule Generator you pick your Minecraft version from 1.8 to 26.3 and see every game rule of that version with an explanation, default value and allowed values – for example keepInventory (keep your items after death) or doDaylightCycle (time of day). Switch the rules and copy the ready-made /gamerule commands into chat or download them as a ready-made data pack (.zip) for the “datapacks” folder of your world – from 26.1 also straight as the game_rules.dat file. Since 1.21.11 every rule has a new name (e.g. keep_inventory) – the generator writes the right names for your version automatically. Changing them needs operator rights or a world with cheats.

How do I get a chest or shulker box with items by command?

Filled containers with the Chest Generator

In the Chest Generator you pick a chest, large chest, trapped chest, barrel, shulker box (in any colour), hopper, dispenser or dropper, click a slot in the rebuilt game screen and choose one of 1639 items – as a full stack or your own amount. You get the ready-made /setblock command that places the filled container (two commands for a large chest) and the /give command that gives you the container with its contents as an item. Optionally with a custom name, in the formats for 1.21.5 to 26.3, 1.20.5 to 1.21.4 and 1.13 to 1.20.4. Commands over 256 characters go into a command block.

How do I pose an armor stand?

Poses and equipment with the Armor Stand Generator

In the Armor Stand Generator you turn the head, body, both arms and both legs with sliders (in degrees, like in the command) or pick one of 12 presets such as wave, walk, sit or dab – the 3D preview uses the real model from the game code. Give it armor (leather in any colour too), items in both hands and options such as arms, no base plate, small, invisible, floating or locked. The generator writes the /summon command that places the stand exactly like that, and a /give command for an armor stand that is already posed when you place it – for 1.21.5 to 26.3, 1.20.5 to 1.21.4 and 1.13 to 1.20.4.

How do I put a player into my world as a statue?

Player statues with the Statue Generator

In the Statue Generator you enter one or more player names, pick the posture (standing, crouching, swimming, flying, sleeping), facing, head tilt and which skin layers show, and download everything as a data pack. Put the .zip into the datapacks folder of your world, type /reload and stand where you want it – /function statues:<name> places the statue there and /function statues:kill removes the closest one. The statue is a mannequin (from 1.21.9): Minecraft loads the real skin by itself from the name, no upload and no resource pack.

How do I get my own picture into the game as a painting?

Your own paintings with the Painting Generator

In the Painting Generator you upload a picture, pick a size from 1×1 to 16×16 blocks and type a title and author. You get one pack that is a data pack and a resource pack at once: put it into your world's data pack folder and into the resource pack folder, then join the world again – /reload does not load new paintings. The /give command gets you the painting – without any mods, from Minecraft 1.21. Tested on real servers from 1.21.1 to 26.3. For older versions from 1.8.9 on pick “Replace a painting”: your picture then replaces an existing painting – resource pack only.

How do I build block and item displays with rotation and size?

Display entities in the Display Generator

In the Display Generator you pick a block, an item or text and set offset, rotation and size with sliders – the 3D preview shows the real block model. Plus camera facing, glowing outline, brightness and shadow. The /summon command fits 1.19.4 to 26.3; in 26.3 the block state is written differently (id/properties instead of Name/Properties) – the generator picks the right format by itself. Everything checked on real servers.

Can I 3D print Minecraft blocks, items and mobs?

3D models on the 3D Print page

Yes. On the 3D Print page you pick one of 1,640 blocks and items or one of 90 mobs and download it as a printable model: STL for any printer, a coloured 3MF for multi-colour printing (one object, every colour a part on its own filament – for Anycubic Slicer Next, Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer), one STL per colour or a coloured OBJ for Blender. Your own skin becomes a figure too (by player name, in 11 poses), and builds from .nbt, .schem and .litematic files or over 1,500 original structures become miniatures. Signs with your text, pictures as colour relief or lithophane, loops for key rings and pockets for magnets come on top. Every texture pixel becomes a small cube in its colour, and the model is always a closed shell. Size, number of colours, item thickness and a base can be set; everything runs in your browser.

How do I make a custom potion by command?

Potions and arrows in the Potion Generator

In the Potion Generator you pick a potion, splash potion, lingering potion or tipped arrow, optionally a normal base potion, and add any effects with levels up to 255, a duration (even infinite) and your own colour. The preview shows the bottle and tooltip as in game, with the /give command for 26.x and older versions down to 1.13 below.

What does the Structure Converter do?

Convert builds between file formats

The Structure Converter converts builds between .schematic, .schem, .litematic and .nbt – right in your browser, your file is never uploaded.

How can I view a schematic in 3D?

Rotate and zoom builds in the Schematic Viewer

In the Schematic Viewer you load a .schem, .schematic, .litematic or .nbt file and see the build in 3D with real Minecraft textures. The layer slider shows it layer by layer, hovering reveals every block, and the material list tells you what you need to rebuild it. The file stays on your device.

How does the Map Art Generator work?

Turn images into Minecraft maps

The Map Art Generator turns an image into Minecraft blocks or a real map.dat map – with staircasing, dithering, a contrast control, free map size, a material list as CSV or TXT and ZIP export.

How do I convert Nether coordinates?

Convert between the Overworld and the Nether

The Nether Coordinate Calculator divides X and Z by 8 (Overworld → Nether) or multiplies them by 8 (Nether → Overworld). Height Y stays the same, and the other side updates right away.

What can the Minecraft Command Generator do?

Click commands together instead of typing
